Nightmist Legacy is a faithful, from-scratch revival of the classic Nightmist MUD, rebuilt for the modern web. Eight classes, real quests, clans, parties, familiars, arenas and PvP — a living world that grows every week, wrapped in a networking engine rebuilt from the ground up to stay smooth even when you're running a whole party of characters at once.

🚀 Current state

Nightmist Legacy is in Closed Alpha (0.8.0) and moving toward open beta — fully playable and updated constantly. It's an early, actively-developed build, so expect frequent updates, and know that your feedback genuinely shapes the game. A North America server region for lower latency is on the roadmap.
